Everyone looks forward to their holiday! Some of us are lucky enough to have many during the year and many of us have just one holiday but we all share the same excitement when deciding where to go and preparing for the off! Most of us choose to travel with our families spending precious time together without the stress of work. Often we travel in groups of friends or just as a couple. But for single people having a holiday can sometimes be problematic. Wanting to get away but having no one to go with is often the problem.

In recent years the singles holiday market has really taken off. Single people can now have fantastic holidays to a huge variety of destinations and make some great friends along the way. There are many dedicated singles holiday providers out there all offering single people the chance to meet other like minded people and enjoy travel and having fun.

There are many destinations for singles holidays. Tunisia and Greece are popular as are Italy. More unusual destinations include China and Cuba. Specialist singles holidays are also available and include walking holidays, motor racing holidays, golfing holidays and Cruises.

Singles holidays vary in itinerary and what is included but you will usually have your own room and have plenty of time to yourself if you want it. There is no pressure to join in if you would rather not but there will be pre arranges group excursions, trips, dinners and tours all available to you.

Many people are worried about going on a singles holiday for the first time. This is understandable and your reps will do there best to put you at ease. There will probably be others in your group feeling the same way too. Singles holidays are really a chance for people to make life long friends and have a fantastic holiday in the process.

Some single holiday providers also offer taster days where you can go along to a 1 or two night event, meet some others in the same situation and get a feel for what it will be like before deciding to book up.
